The Process

From sample to identity, in five steps.

True Cut uses a repeatable account workflow: add one or more samples, pay $399 per sample, generate SNP data, compare relationships, and document the result in the Forensic Identity Dossier.

STEP 01
Create or sign in
The order is tied to a breeder account email so samples, payment status, and reports can be tracked in one place.
STEP 02
Enter submitter and sample information
Submitters provide contact details, then add one or more samples with cultivar identity, collection, biological material, ploidy, and optional lineage fields.
STEP 03
Review and pay
Each sample is $399. The order total is calculated server-side, and payment is collected through hosted checkout.
STEP 04
Generate DNA marker data
After payment and sample receipt, independent laboratory processing generates genome-wide SNP data for identity analysis.
STEP 05
Document the result
The customer receives the Forensic Identity Dossier with genetic identity evidence, relatedness context, and bounded interpretation.
Science Guides

From sample record to dossier context.

Mendel, Franklin, and Darwin give the process a visual teaching layer while the page keeps the actual decision-making grounded in records, data, and bounded interpretation.

Breeder record

Mendel

Keeps cultivar names, lineage notes, collection context, and submitted sample details organized before analysis begins.

Mendel Science Guide with a cultivar record book.
Data integrity

Franklin

Follows the evidence trail from laboratory data through QC context, sample comparison, and dossier-ready interpretation.

Franklin Science Guide reviewing molecular data.
Variation context

Darwin

Frames relatedness, PCA neighborhoods, and why small genetic differences can matter when strain names are unreliable.

Darwin Science Guide reading relatedness notes.

Concrete outputs, stated carefully.

The process states price, reviewable deliverables, and timing boundaries without promising unreviewed legal outcomes or unapproved operational thresholds.
